New opening of offices and flexible workplaces in Römischer Hof, Berlin
Berlin’s leading business center provider, Satellite Office GmbH, is opening its fifth business center in the capital this week. On the 3rd floor of Unter den Linden 10, a total of 38 individual and team offices, various lounge areas, dining areas, a fireside lounge and conference rooms of different sizes are available on an area of 1,423 m². Even before the opening, 52% of the offices have been leased.

The Roman Court is a house with history. The beautiful Kontorhaus in Berlin’s boulevard Unter den Linden and was one of the few houses not completely destroyed during World War II. After being gutted in 2005, the building was renovated and shaped into a modern office building by architect Axtelm Frinken based on images and documents dating back to 1775. The facade, destroyed during the Second World War, was fitted with an attractive glass insert. The Römischer Hof was last known as the Grand Hotel de Rome, which was one of the most prestigious hotels in Berlin. The house gained a certain notoriety with the Pannewitz gang, which committed a safe burglary in 1951. This story was filmed under the title “Der Bruch” in 1989 with Götz George, Rolf Hoppe and Otto Sander.
