A great success against child pornography
Hamburg, May 12, 2014. Satellite Office’s “Egg for Innocence” initiative came to an end today with the presentation of a check in the amount of €1,935. Under the motto Show your face – together against child pornography and the acquisition of child pornographic material on the Internet, the operator of business centers had called for this unique campaign before Easter to benefit Dunkelziffer e.V. in Hamburg. Anita Gödiker, Managing Director of Satellite Office, presented the donation proceeds to Vera Falck, Managing Director of Dunkelziffer e.V., today at the Satellite Office Center in Hamburg at Neuer Wall 10.
Social commitment is a matter of course for Anita Gödiker. In addition to various projects, she has been engaged in an intensified, determined and loud campaign against child pornography since 2003. She is using her outreach to bring up this issue where she can reach people to further help de-taboo it. Motivated by the so-called “Causa Edathy”, she initiated the “Egg for Innocence” campaign in the run-up to the Easter holidays. In all Satellite Office Business Centers in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich, colorful Easter eggs were sold under the motto “Join in instead of playing around” and each buyer received a raffle ticket for one euro per egg. Thus, in any case, the buyer was guaranteed to win the good feeling of having done good. As a special incentive, Satellite Office also gave away 260 Membership KeyCards to the many supporters of the campaign, giving them free entry to the Berlin operator’s business centers. The beneficiaries of the donations are Dunkelziffer e.V. and Innocence in Danger e.V. in equal parts. Since March 5 of this year, a total of € 3,870 in donations has been collected. Vera Falck accepted the check for her organization today.

Raising money for children who have been exploited for child pornography and selling Easter eggs in combination with a winning lottery ticket was a wonderful combination with a wonderful result,” praised Vera Falck during the ceremony and went on to say, “We are very happy about the great proceeds of € 1,935. We will use the money for our training seminars, which we have been organizing for 18 years for criminal officers, judges and prosecutors in the fight against child pornography. Over 1750 officers have already taken part. With this unique nationwide offering, Dunkelziffer has established an interdisciplinary forum with a rapid flow of communication. Every donation helps to ensure that we can continue to offer this project in the future. We sincerely thank Ms. Gödiker for her help!”
The association Dunkelziffer e.V. Hamburg has been fighting against sexual abuse of children and against child pornography since 1993 and supports projects such as counseling and immediate help, first aid for victims and confidants, therapy: for child victims in the Hamburg area, victim advocates for legal assistance even before filing a complaint, prevention topics. Numerous representatives of the regional press were also present in the bistro lounge of the Satellite Office Business & Conference Center in Hamburg for the handover of the donation proceeds. Also in on the action were the office customers, who contributed to the donation proceeds as “egg buyers” and supporters of the campaign. Moved by the great support, Anita Gödiker and Vera Falck thanked especially the Satellite Office customers, but also the partners such as the company Strähle Trennsysteme, which increased the sum considerably with a large donation. “For sure, this was not my last initiative,” Anita Gödiker said goodbye to the guests with a determined expression on her face.
