Satellite Office opens new business center in Berlin in March 2016
Berlin, December 10, 2015:Home office, airport lounge, own office, coworking space, virtual office: dynamic working time and workplace models are becoming increasingly important for companies and employees. For many business people, the one-workstation model is a relic of days gone by. Today’s working world has become too complex and agile. In this context, Satellite Office creates space for flexible workplaces, coworking and business meetings. In the middle of the centers of European metropolises. In listed, historic properties.
The Berlin-based company is currently expanding: In addition to new locations in Munich and Zurich, Satellite Office is opening another business, coworking & conference center in Berlin in March 2016. In line with the Satellite Office concept, this center is also being built in a historic building. The former Imperial Postal Headquarters was completed in 1912 and is located on Französische Straße in Berlin-Mitte, not far from the government buildings, ministries and embassies.
“I am sure that political consultants and lobbyists, for example, will therefore feel very comfortable here. Our customers can already look forward to a spacious and modern business center. Right in the middle of Mitte. Representative, stylish and with a completely new design approach made in Berlin,” says Anita Gödiker, founder and managing partner of Satellite Office. For this project, the Berliner-by-choice has brought an experienced designer on board to further develop Satellite Office’s contemporary, urban style.
New generation business center in the heart of Berlin
The new business center at Französische Strasse 12 is located just a few meters from Friedrichstrasse and Gendarmenmarkt. Due to its central location in Berlin-Mitte, the infrastructure around the building is correspondingly good: from top restaurants and shopping facilities to local and long-distance public transport, everything is within walking distance.
The 1,236-square-meter business center in the former Imperial Post Office Headquarters is being built on a total of three floors. Up to 66 customers can rent permanent or temporary space in 25 intelligently designed offices. In addition, the new Satellite Office location features a two-story coworking area with a fireplace that provides a relaxed work atmosphere. In addition, the business center offers a meeting room for up to eight people and a conference room where about 20 creative minds can meet.
“With this location, we are finally ushering in a new generation of the business center. This is where the casual work environment of Silicon Valley meets the amenities of a luxury hotel. With a workstation at Satellite Office, you always do yourself a little bit of good, too,” explains Gödiker.
Satellite Office’s offer also includes services at the Imperial Post Office that are tailored to the needs of contemporary business people. Self-employed consultants or start-ups who travel a lot and need a kind of “home base” can have a virtual office set up here, for example. Mail and telephone reception is handled by specially trained Satellite Office employees. Added to this is the renowned business address in the middle of the German capital. An important plus for the business card!
