Berlin, August 14, 2017: Satellite Office Business & Coworking Center is relaunching its startup prize this summer under the name “WSC – Women Startup Challenge 2017”. We are looking for women who have recently started or want to start a business with a promising idea. The basis for the application is a business plan, which is evaluated by a jury of several members. The tender documents can be requested online via the homepage. Three prizes will be donated: A company headquarters with address, workplaces in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Düsseldorf or Zurich. Likewise, the meeting rooms in the locations and the coworking desks can be used. Three office packages that can be business and image boosters, especially in the first year. For the duration of the sponsorship year, the three award winners will become members of the Satellite Office Business Club and gain access to important impulse events. The chance to present the business idea to investors should also be particularly exciting.
Anita Gödiker, owner and CEO of Satellite Office, started her own business twenty years ago and ran into many closed doors. There was no support from banks, business and politics. Especially not for women. At that time, Gödiker established the “Existenzgründerinnenpreis für Berlin”. She wanted to draw attention to this grievance.
